Horrible, prolonged and deliberate offences by girls who were 13 and 14. They cannot be named, which is standard (but not always mandatory) with child criminals. It makes the naming of Jamie Bulger's killers (aged 10 and 11) look like vengeance rather than public interest.
Probably explained by Jamie being a child rather than a vulnerable adult, and the clamour in the press. I wish our judiciary could be conistent, but that is like hoping referees were consistent.

Poor cow was getting battered and they were posting the images of it on social media. That's ok in 15 years the public will be paying the millions to protect their identity.

It's proper fucked up. The older girl had been told to 'Fuck off and kill yourself' by her mum earlier in the day I think and they'd both started getting pissed up at the age of 11 and had escaped care homes 18 times??
As for the poor mare that was killed, it's all very well her family coming out and saying she was taken before they had a chance to save her from alcohol, but she was 39. I'm sure if they were really that bothered they could have intervened well before then?
The whole thing is a very sad state of affairs.

Leroys, those northern chavs were clearly not clever enough to unlock the back door, tell police a stranger abducted their child, then set up a multi-million pound fund 'to find him'.

Hideous case, from the victim to the killers. Dreadful.
I'll put my hands up and say that the Bulger case still bothers me and I have seen all sorts of shit one way or another. The full details of which were deemed to much for public consumption.
Are these bastards borne of their upbringing or quite simply born that way?
Either way I am inclined to think they are beyond redemption and require nothing but the rope, irrespective of age.

These girls had horrendous childhoods. No love, no boundaries, no eduction. What they did was terrible, absolutely terrible. But locking them up for fifteen years is not the answer.
